Barbie A Bordo

I thought that this was a funny play on words, but I wondered if people here in Oaxaca could distinguish it as the ubiquitous Baby on Board caution signs would have been Niño A Bordo here.

I wondered also if this phrase Barbie on Board started in the US and was translated for Spanish. (I didn’t find out much.)

Most importantly, I wanted to know who this Barbie is, if she’s really a Barbie.
